3. User-Generated Content

• License: By submitting content, you grant Die Carz a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, and sublicensable license to use, copy, modify, adapt, distribute, publish, display, and create derivative works from that content in connection with operating and improving the Service.
• Visibility: All content submitted to Die Carz is public by default and may be viewed by anyone using the Service. We do not offer privacy controls to restrict content visibility.
• Account Deletion:

• Your profile (username, email, profile picture) will be permanently deleted.
• Your posts will be permanently deleted.
• Your comments will remain visible to preserve the integrity of discussions but will no longer be linked to your profile (e.g. shown as “Deleted User”).
• Your catalog contributions (car photos, metadata, corrections) will remain permanently as part of the Die Carz database.

• Moderation: We may monitor, review, or remove any content submitted to the Service at our sole discretion and for any reason, including but not limited to content that violates our Terms and Conditions, or applicable laws.
• Responsibility: You are solely responsible for the content you submit and must ensure it does not infringe the rights of others, including intellectual property, privacy, or applicable laws.

4. Sharing of Information

We may share your information:

• With other users of the Service (e.g. catalog contributions, posts, comments);
• With trusted third-party service providers who perform services on our behalf, such as cloud hosting, data storage, analytics, content delivery, and moderation. These providers are only authorized to process your information as necessary to provide these services and must protect it in accordance with this Privacy Policy;
• To comply with applicable law, regulation, or legal process;
• To protect the rights, property, or safety of Die Carz, our users, or others.

We do not sell your personal information.

5. Data Retention

• Account information is retained for as long as you maintain an account.
• Catalog contributions remain permanently as part of the Die Carz database.
• Posts are deleted if you delete your account.
• Comments remain after account deletion but are anonymized.
• Backups may temporarily retain deleted data for security and recovery purposes.

Depending on your location, you may have rights under applicable law, including:

• Accessing the information we hold about you;
• Requesting corrections or updates;
• Requesting deletion (subject to catalog contribution exceptions described above);
• Restricting or objecting to processing;

7. Children’s Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
